A little bit about me...

Hi, I’m Poppy — a yoga instructor and remedial soft tissue and sports therapist. At my core, I’m curious, open-minded, and deeply passionate, which fuels my drive to explore and understand the mind-body connection.

My journey into aligning mind and body truly began in 2019 when I immersed myself in Indian culture and trained as a yoga instructor. Since then, I’ve explored a wide variety of movement styles, shaping how I support my clients and students. For me, movement is more than just physical benefits — it’s my anchor, a source of stability when life feels unpredictable. But what truly makes movement magical is the community: the connections and kindred souls who make a big city like London feel like a village.

In 2022, I faced a debilitating injury that profoundly reshaped my perspective. A wise friend once told me, “An injury is your greatest teacher,” and they couldn’t have been more right. While my injury temporarily paused my yoga practice, it opened up new pathways. I immersed myself in strength and mobility training, explored alternative forms of movement, and ultimately discovered massage therapy. This expanded my understanding of the body — and myself — in ways I never imagined.

This journey not only deepened my expertise but also transformed how I approach movement and care. It’s made me stronger and more resilient, equipping me to guide others toward a healthier, more balanced future — in both body and mind.

My Approach...

As a yoga teacher and certified sports massage therapist, my goal is to empower people to reconnect with their body and mind through movement, breath, and touch. For true longevity, I believe the body and mind need a balance of challenge and rest, which is why I’ve diversified my offerings and continue to evolve my approach.

 

In my yoga classes, I encourage people to move and breathe authentically, dissolving self-doubt and fostering self-acceptance and curiosity. I aim to create an environment where you can challenge yourself, laugh, breathe, and not take things too seriously. Yoga isn’t about perfection — it’s about showing up as you are, embracing the undulating journey, and finding joy in every moment, whether you’re nailing a pose or wobbling out of it.

 

As a massage therapist, I take a similar approach by blending intuition with technical expertise to create treatments that are uniquely tailored to each individual’s needs. Whether recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or simply seeking to reconnect with your body, my sessions are designed to help you feel empowered and supported. By combining multiple techniques, I work collaboratively to release tension, improve mobility, and deepen awareness of your body’s innate ability to heal.

 

Together, my yoga and massage practices complement one another, offering holistic care that addresses physical challenges while nurturing mental and emotional wellbeing. Every session and class is built on trust, open communication, and the shared goal of helping you feel stronger, more balanced, and empowered in yourself.
